Pelton’s numbers (predictions wise) perform horrific to mid most of the time (even if I’ve liked some of his 🏀writing before….ESPN letting Zach Lowe go was sooooooo dumb! He’s one of the GOAT!).
Also 2020/23 elite best guard in the playoffs Murray absolutely brought fire/attitude as well (w/ Bruce). Westbrook def brings that too. No brainer signing as a vet minimum with zero risk bc even IF it somehow went left you can just release him or buy him out.
I think Joker & AG bring that in their own way too as do Peyton/CB the way they yell & get hyped!
The issue on Lakers was that Westbrook was making 47 mill per yr vs 2-3 million and expected to be their 3rd best player and Lakers moronically gave away KCP & Caruso (even Kuzma who I’m not a fan of but he could help them as depth). Westbrook on a vet minimum is a good value for ANY team especially for one that needs more depth/energy/swagger/leadership.
Hopefully Saric can get back to his pre 2021-22 ACL tear self bc many forget of how solid of a player he was before that.
His first 5 yrs in the NBA 2016-17 to 20-21 from 22-26 yrs old he AVERAGED 12, 6, 2, 0.8 stocks on 44/36/84 in 25mpg. If he can get back to close to that that’s huge for Nuggets.
Only thing that can stop Nuggets from title imo is health. I’m way higher than most, but obviously there is always health luck.

I have a feeling that Russ will be loved here in Denver. He brings old school energy and attitude. I'm excited to finally have the scowl on his face directed at the opposing team.
I hope Russell could win his first NBA championship this season with the Denver Nuggets. The kid has paid his dues
Nuggets haven't had a player come in the building with this level of clout since they traded for AI. it's no surprise things are going to feel different
I actually hope Nuggets either have 60-65 victories or less than 40. They should be either champs favorites or try to rebuild or mini rebuild, there is no sense to keep this horrifical contract what they gave last year.
jokic makes players better. kcp bruce brown jeff green all left the nuggets more valuable as players than when they joined. there’s no reason westbrook won’t be the same
Nuggets play style suits Darios game perfectly. Denver won't be able to resign him next season as his value will go up no doubt 📈
