    Wolves always had to trade either Gobert or KAT eventually considering they have the highest paid roster in the league and technically they are both Centers. Gobert is in his last year so his trade market is probably not great.

    Watching the playoffs the Wolves came off like they were basically just in need of playoff reps like how Boston inched forward a bit every year. So fuck that idea I guess. 

     Knicks I think on paper take a leap now though – assuming KAT isn’t run into the ground.

    Been saying it since the start of the offseason. KAT was getting moved sooner or later. The contracts just weren’t sustainable. They chose Gobert and now they have to deal with the consequences.

    Why the fuck did Minny do this?! Even if they wanted to trade KAT…Randle is what they settled for? It’s an awful fit with Edward’s. They just went on a deep run, why fuck it up? This is the dumbest trade I’ve seen in my life time. How Edward’s doesn’t demand a trade now is beyond me.

    I guess I’ll be the dissenter but I don’t think this is a bad move for Minnesota. They are building around Edwards for the foreseeable future and I think they have seen enough from Towns to know he’s not that guy you can fully count on.

    I don’t know if they are better now but I don’t think they are considerably worse short term.
