I honestly think this makes them worse, but we’ll see.

KAT was locking up Jok towards the end of our series with them. This is good for us.

This takes away a little bit of the rotation they could throw at Jokic. All for it

  4. MarsBars_1

    This is fantastic for us.

What are the wolves doing though? Randle and Dante do not equal what Towns brings and I understand money might be an issue but you just beat the defending champs and made the Conference Finals like why get worse?

  5. Prestigious_Team3134

It’s got to be for Randal right?

  6. Infinite_Practice826

siri play good riddance by green day

  7. LegendOfTooget

Wow, I’m shocked by this. I think it works well for the Knicks but I’m not sure the wolves got any better

This absolutely makes them worse. The twin towers defense was finally melding last season and KAT is amongst the best floor spacing bigs in the league. Now a ton of pressure on the offensive output being on Ant. Plus I don’t buy Randle as being any improvement on the defensive end.

    Nuggets rooooolllllll the wolves now

  10. New_Parsnip_6060

I like it for the knicks but seems like a weird trade for the timberwolves, I mean think about the randle/Gobert spacing…poor ant LMAO

What a bizzare trade. I bet this has to do with the cap. KAT is still under contract for at least 3 more years with a player option for a 4th.

I imagine Twolves were not wanting to go over the 2nd apron so wanted to get cheaper contracts on the books.

I still wouldn’t have done this trade though. Twolves got worse overall

  12. ALBERTSONSENGINEER

Probably better for us since KAT/Gobert combo + Naz Reid is what destroyed us. I don’t see the same effect with Randle/Gobert. Plus, I don’t know if Divencenzo will play as a starter but you would have to swap him out for McDaniels or NAW which is trading offense for defense.

  13. Legitimate-Put573

As much as I like to shit talk KAT he won the wolves that series by just being a big effective body. Randle is a huge downgrade in terms of having bodies to throw at Jokic. That offense is gonna be in shambles on nights that Ant doesn’t have it going

  14. alspiller08

Maybe the wolves know something about KAT that the Knicks don’t?

  15. MoooonRiverrrr

So fucking stupid imo. And really fucked up chemistry wise for both teams.

You trade your longest tenured franchise player without telling him.

You downgrade to a guy who is basically the same player but 3 inches shorter and not as good from 3 or anywhere.

And you break up one of the best stories in the NBA and lose depth.

Hate this trade, feel bad story of the summer.

Kat’s defense on Jokic and scoring at times is what really edged them against us last year (Well and our team being tired). Randle isn’t as good defensively and he tries to force his offense way too often throwing up crazy contested shots which took so much away from the Knicks and probably will do the same in Minnesota unless they can limit his touches on offense/ low IQ plays

  17. NuggAvsBroncRock

This seems like a very odd trade for the wolves

  18. juandell

I think something finally low key went our way this off season 😂

  19. Ash_713S

This is so good for the Nuggets. Gobert will get owned again by the Joker but they now have no KAT 3s going for them.

TWolves just got worse. Its ANT or bust now, and they dont have the same defense for the Joker.

  20. porkadachop

I know this isn’t a good trade for Minny because none of their trolls are in here talking shit.

    Best nuggets off-season move

Connelly’s admission that the roster wasn’t good enough to win a title. They can hang there, “We Beat Denver tho!!!” banner
