I genuinely wanted to see how they played this year, the chemistry of the NOVA Knicks, and how Randle fit this team. KAT struggled down the stretch, especially in the WCF. My opinion, the T-Wolves just didn't like him, the fact that he forgets he's not a guard, his shot selection. I don't think KAT solves the Knicks center problem, but his ability to stretch the floor is valuable. I wondered how effective Randle was going to be against the Celtics and Sixers.
The trade makes the already top 3 in the east knicks better by a lot. Randal was a non factor last year and Dante is in a spot with lots of depth. Honestly nothing but improvement. No team did more this offseason than the Knicks. Championship or bust.
Think both teams made a needed shakeup with players that have been flashes of good but also issues they have, interested to see if change of scenery helps them at all.
Cherry on top is Lakers, Warriors and Heat all exposed at not being close to contenders with their laughable offseasons so far. 🤣
NY is trying to beat Boston and win a chip, not sell college team slogans and 2nd round losses. NY just molded themselves to compete with the best team in the NBA, and goofies mad about a role player. 😅
As a Knicks fan this is a tough trade. Divo was huge for their success last year and him being traded makes me not liking this trade. I obviously love the Randle for KAT swap so just man….this was crazy
Naz Reid is just as good as KAT and this clean up their cap a little bit. Knicks look real good on paper but we will see because KAT is kind of a head case don't know how it will go with Thibs or Knicks fans
The Nuggets must be happy. It creates an easier matchup, without the twin towers. As Jovic said last year, the T-Wolves were built to specifically stop the Nuggets.
