i do think thibs has changed since and so has kat, but again him manning the paint while not fouling has been an issue that has at the forefront again this playoffs..
..but we saw guys like mitch and hartenstein both improve on fouling after working with thibs so hopefully this second go around works for kat as well

I liked what he wrote about Thibs being the right guy to extract the most out of Towns. The dynamic between Thibs and KAT is the key to the success of this trade. KAT had his best seasons statistically under Thibs, including one where his usage rate was as low as 23% but had a career best 14 win shares and 65% true shooting. Those numbers came with a balanced offense featuring Jimmy Butler, with the 4th highest offensive rating in the league. That could be the role he plays here alongside Brunson as a number two option. Edwards has a similar usage rate to Brunson but in that Minnesota offense KAT seemed to create more for himself. With Brunson the two man game could make them both more efficient and expend less energy offensively. And this should be less taxing on him physically so he could have more in the tank to hit the boards and contest shots.
