[Kris Pursiainen] The New York Knicks are receiving and taking calls on center Mitchell Robinson, their longest tenured player. Sources familiar with the situation say the likelihood of a deal is unknown but the team seems to be willing to make another move after the blockbuster add of Karl Towns.

It’s a done deal Mitch is gone

There’s no other way to make the money work at this point

  2. D1HATER3002

I doubt they get a lot, dude is out till december and his injury history is pretty concerning. I would keep him if I were the knicks.

  3. LouieM13

Mitch gets injured a lot, but he’s a really good disciplined defensive center who doesn’t commit a lot of bad fouls.

We BADLY need a center. I’m questioning Leon’s leadership if we don’t get one in any deal involving Mitch.

Not sure what team would trade for him. I think we would have to either attach a pick or one of the draft guys we took this year. Please Lord just not Deuce McBride.

  5. This last 9 months have been crazy

3 big trades and we aren’t even done yet apparently

  6. ImTheBestNerd

Grizzlies, Pelicans, Wizards, and Bulls maybe?

  7. confuddly

This guy accurately reported some random ass Knicks news about how Bojan went to the hospital for special surgery in Manhattan 2 days before the playoffs and was told he needed surgery on his left wrist

Nobody reported anything like that and everyone said he was full of shit. Begley confirmed the news like a week later

They’d have to find somewhere to trade all of Jeffries, Brown, Bates-Diop, Sims, and Dadiet to make the money work for the Kat trade… or they can just send out Robinson somewhere

  9. outsidehere

Walker Kessler, you are a Knickerbocker

  10. AllTimeBallKnower

So they are going to trade for a center when they needed more depth in that area, only to get one and then try and trade their original one? lol

  11. Dicey12

He would be way better than Hayes and C.Wood

  12. SnooChipmunks4208

The best answer I can come up with is the Pelicans, but I can’t see them overpaying.

  13. jumboponcho

Knicks got tired of waiting for FAs, said we trading all year fuck it

  14. Airhostnyc

Yea hes gone for what idk….

Knicks being hella aggressive but they seem to have a plan….

  15. Spiritjuice4998

Would have been scary hours for opposing offenses to see

    Bridges/Anunoby/KAT/Robinson …

Knicks better get back a Walker Kessler comp if they’re shipping out Robinson.

  16. Dmanning2

LAKERS LAKERS LAKERS. AD CANNOT PLAY CENTER

  17. Major_Damage7207

who’s even the best player we can get with Mitchell Robinson + Pacome Dadiet + Washington FRP?

  18. herbjonesmybeloved

the knicks are addicted to trading

  19. Knicks trading their handicapped players after Thibs squeezes everything they had should be illegal.

  20. TheBimpo

Detroit has too many centers, make us an offer we can’t refuse.

  21. Tucker + coffey for mitch and filler. Add depth on the wing with coffey and….PJ can play center right? Lol

  22. medievalmachine

Can we trade him for Hartenstein?

  23. dontletmecook73

How crazy would it be if OKC threw a couple picks in for a backup 5 that is crazy defensively 🤠 He wouldn’t even need to play that many minutes so it would limit any injuries

  24. krypto9er

I honestly don’t see a move that improves them at the 4 and 5, which is where they currently lack depth especially if you somehow move Robinson.

  25. TheMoorNextDoor

They plan on winning a championship with one center? Would’ve made the trade with the wolves incredibly stupid especially if KAT get hurt.

  26. krusty-krab69

Makes sense to field calls on him considering they need to open up a little bit more money for the kat trade.

  27. The_Mootz_Pallucci

Imagine the Knicks got Allen? Sheeeeeeeesh bing BONG

    I can dream cant I?

  28. FBgreatness

Get his injury prone ass outta here. Not a knicks fan but its time.

  29. imperialmoose

I would guess they look for someone not as good but 3 times more healthy

  30. LyonsKing12_

The Knicks are NOT fucking around.

    You have to respect it.

  31. QueAsc0

I’d love to get Nick Richards or Mark Williams from Charlotte. Still need another body to throw against Embiid. But healthy Mitch is still a beast. You wont find a better offensive rebounder than him

  32. ComedianVirtual9892

I never liked him much.  His shooting range is 1 inch from.the hoop and he’ll still miss half the time from that range.  Hartenstein was good.  So of course he left the minute he got good

  33. k1ngkoala

Would be huge if Lakers could somehow get him. Doubt it though

  34. sh00ner

Still think their best bet would be to wait till December and see if they can find a way to do a Mitch/Valanciunas swap. Better contract, and JV has become ridiculously underrated. He’d be a perfect backup big for the Knicks.

  35. ProudReaction2204

Knicks seriously trading the heart and soul of the team now?
