This is totally a longshot and unlikely take but maybe something to consider for mitch.
Saw an interview with Mike Bibby who worked out with Mitch this summer who basically said that Mitch *does* actually have a lot of facets to his game that don’t get utilized. I know from the eye test, none of us see it.
But maybe having KAT at the beginning of our season will allow us to play a more “stretch 5” style of ball that we become accustomed to, and when Mitch comes back, maybe that allows him to expand his game a bit more.
Im not saying to have mitch pull up from 3 but maybe he can live a little more outside of the paint.

What world does he live in, where the championship-contending Knicks don’t have a center for half the season, and they don’t try to trade for one? All to protect the ego of a great hustle player who can’t shoot or and won’t practice free throws?
I respect a good defensive center and rebounder, but even if he was healthy, it’s a weird amount of ego for a guy who’s a liability on offense, in a league where centers increasingly can shoot a basketball. Add in the fact that Mitch is NEVER AVAILABLE, it’s like.. dude just grow up and be a good team player. Stop taking everything personally like a teenager.
