It seems that not only the fan bases of the Knicks and Timberwolves are still processing this trade, newest Knick Karl-Anthony Towns is also doing the same thing but for a very different reason. According to multiple NBA Insiders, KAT had no idea he was going to be traded and never had a conversation about it with Minnesota. The Wolves may have done a huge favor for NY in the process. The Garden crowd will embrace KAT and make him feel at home right away. We've been waiting for a team like this for a long time, and he'll forget about the Twolves when he's playing in a sold-out arena every game and hearing deafening cheers when he slam dunks over other teams or hits clutch threes!!!

According to Fred Katz he is puzzled how the money is going to work. The Knicks have 7 players under contract next season and that puts them at the luxury tax with 8 spots to fill. As for giving KAT warning, the Knicks apparently came with the offer Friday and Twolves couldn’t say no. Nobody can afford paying that money to their number 3 or 4th most important player.
You can't tell a player that they are in trade talks. I think you are totally wrong. Not deplorable at all. What if the trade talks don't pan out? Then what have you done to the player's psyche? You have upset the player's peace of mind for no reason. What if he stops playing hard or demands a trade, when the team doesn't have one? What if he demands a trade to a team that doesn't bring back equal value, or makes sense to his team? What if he becomes disgruntled and upsets team chemistry? You need to think before you make wild claims. His team did nothing wrong.

i think town went to the the facility in Minnesota at 3:11am to take his final workout and take it all in because on town twitter he said … around 10pm and sham drop it around 10:27pm so from a timezone thing he def went there after getting the news..but we got a center we needed a center and julius last act as a knick was to help a school in the bronx so prop for him. All the knicks have to do is stay health lmao We fly high no lie u know this …..
