Plus w/ Lakers LBJ and AD were hurt so no chemistry was built and they had a lot of players over 35 and they couldn’t and didn’t run so Russ couldn’t push pace in transition—Clippers balled first year and then they got Harden and he went to the bench by choice— but there as well as these older guys don’t want to run…and Kawahi was hurt in the playoffs both years even tho he lives to load manage SMH— Even Washington he had young bulls and they ran with him and keep in mind- Not only did he avg a triple dub and get them to the playoffs he did that with Bradley Beal being hurt and in and out the line up. Caitlan Clark has crazy TOs like Russ and people appreciate her greatness but imagine if every time it happened they pulled her— she wouldn’t be her… That’s what happened to Russ— in OKC, Hous, WSH he played thru it and performed… Speaking of Houston, not only did he ball out there… He tore his quadriceps and he had Covid right before the playoffs started. I feel like people leave out that context… We also leave out the context of James Harden being at the strip club and partying, and not taking practice serious before the playoffs…*We ask players to put it all on the line to play through injury and then if they don’t come back early … We will be quick to say they’re making all this money and they won’t make sacrifices… But if they do come back early, they’re competitive but they lose we demonize them. Russ is a GOAT and 17 years in he is still box office🫡💯💯
Westbrook has no fundamentals. Jokic is naturally a power forward, but still succeeds. The "not my position" is a lame excuse. When MJ was point guard he averaged a triple double. Westbrook is 1st missed layups, 2nd in turnovers, and 12th in miss shots. He's unreliable, out of control, bad mid range, and would steal rebounds from big guys. He is a known stat padder. Look past the triple doubles. Objectively look at how he plays the game. HE DOES NOT PLAY WINNING BASKETBALL. He just puts up empty stats. He even held off on taking good shots just to try and get the 10th assist. He's going to make DEN worse.
