Today is the final day of NBC Sports Chicago, CSN Chicago, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, whatever you call it. Chicago Sports Network will launch tomorrow evening at 5pm on DirecTV or on your over the air channels 62.2 and 62.3.
We’ve had a lot of good moments since this channel launched, among those being getting to see Rose all his time here and watch him blossom into an MVP. Chicago’s very own. I can’t forget about DeRozan’s game winners.
I’m privileged to have seen and still see what I believe are not just the best basketball broadcasters, but among the best sports broadcasters in Neil Funk and Stacey King, now Adam Amin and Stacey King. I’m glad they’ll be continuing to call games on the new network, we need something to be excited about under a Jerry owned team.
The same goes for the pre/post game crew, Jason and Kendall keep it real all the time, although I’m sad Will won’t be returning.
What’s your favorite moment from the past 20 years of Bulls basketball on this network? Mine has to be DeRozan’s game winners, which I unfortunately couldn’t see the one against Washington live as I had COVID and was knocked out when it happened.
RIP to the best NBA theme (I know it’s not their current theme anymore but I couldn’t find it), hopefully CHSN has something good.
(Also, important to note, media day is today. I’d be very shocked if we don’t hear something about the network today, no new details have been announced since the DirecTV deal.)
