“The guy has two long socks, knee brace, headband, afro, he is a basketball player. I’m not worried about him. He is as basketball as it’s going to get. He looks like a guy from the 90s. I’m not worried about him. I’m not questioning his desire or want. Glad we took care of him. I always say he is like the insurance policy. Glad we took care of him.”
great quote from Thompson, in the context of Jarrett Allen revealing there's still a chunk of bone "floating in my body somewhere" following the broken rib he suffered during the playoffs. piece by Chris Fedor.
“Now that it’s out, looking at the CT scan, you can still see the piece of bone that’s still floating in my body somewhere, so it was definitely a worse injury than people thought.

Fuck JB and Morris.
If Tristan says you’re tough, then you’re tough. I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves for his role on those LeBron teams outside of maybe some folks in this sub.
Love TT. Great locker room guy.
“Soft” was already a disliked word of mine, but that entire saga this last playoffs catapulted it to #1 most hated. Countless dudes who couldn’t make a layup without shattering their ankle calling a dude soft for not playing on a broken rib.
I know. That is why I bought Allen’s jersey.
