    Hmm that’s a bit of a concerning answer to the first question. Being sarcastic isn’t a good look. I’m not necessarily saying he needs to take media questions ultra serious, but a little humility and introspection would have certainly made me feel a bit better

    I feel this is being misinterpreted. He’s attempting to be relentlessly positive. He’s not going to shit on himself and he’s not going to blame his teammates or his situation. He’s going to focus on what he can control and try to stay happy and engaged no matter what, This is the correct and sustainable long-term approach, even if he is not great at articulating it right now. He’s not unaware of his obstacles, he’s just not going to let them define him either.

    These thread responses is why I hate sports fans sometimes. This is still a fucking kid. He doesn’t owe you all anything. For all we know, he could’ve improved his game x10 and all that matters is how that reflects on the court. This press conference doesn’t mean squat.
