DLo doesn't need to apologize to anybody about his play last year. Jeez, the guy made the most 3's in a season for a Lakers player. And yes, everybody knocks his defense, but he was better than previous years. I am glad he picked up his option & was not traded. Go DLo!

Good for him. Re the maturity/professionalism aspect, he took the humble route the reality is the pressure and the 'abuse' he was getting at times is beyond normal so fans or 'fans' need to acknowledge that stuff has been handled poorly if you are really aiming for team success

D'Angelo won a lot of games for the Lakers last year. I think he will show that he is better than any guards they could have probably traded for. I never had a problem with his shooting slumps in the playoffs, if you take a lot of three's you have slumps. Mostly careless turnovers and missed defensive covers could be minimized. But you don't have to be dominating on defense or super quick, most of NBA defense is team defense schemes. If Vando and AD are healthy and Christie and Vincent are contributing good minutes the Lakers could have a very good defensive team this year. Lebron showed in the Olympics he still has "it".
