  1. The team looks good in paper… Let's see how it translates during the season. Chemistry is a plus…

  2. I Hear the NBA had to give the KNICKS a Waiver that will allow them to Have No Non-Minority Players on their Team before Trading DiVincenzo.

  3. Pretty obvious about the motivations for this trade.

    Minnesota

Naz Reid is the future, not Carl Towns

Carl Towns contract made it a flat out salary dump

The real target of the trade was DeVincenzo

Randle was taken to even out the money and he is not in the Wolves plans

    Knicks

Randle was no longer a fit in New York – addition by subtraction

Towns is a great fit in New York and turns the Knicks into a serious title contender. He is an elite offensive player and the Knicks have a ton of defensive studs to cover up Towns deficiencies similar to the Wolves – Anunoby, Bridges, Hart and Robinson. And, altho' Tibbs couldn't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse defensively with Towns their first time around, it can only get better this time.

Losing DeVincenzo is a loss in New York, but he was looking at drastically reduced playing time when the Knicks acquired Bridges. Also, with Towns and his 40% three point shooting added to Anunoby and Bridges being excellent three and D players, DeVincenzo won't be missed in New York.
