Oh come ON Cam

This is a ridiculous thing to say. I really want to believe this kid is maturing on and off the court then he opens his mouth and says this. He's proven he can score. Thats it. If that's what he thinks proving himself is he can be the first one to go

Heā€™s always had a terrible attitude. The fanbase denies it but itā€™s very obvious. Heā€™s never gotten along with any of his coaches going back to high school and anytime someone critiques his game at all, he is extremely defensive.

The difference between him and Wilson/Clowney maturity wise is staggering.

Heā€™s done himself no favours with the wording, but definitely not what he means IMO. My take is that heā€™s saying heā€™s got ā€œ nothing left to proveā€ in terms of earning the right to be a capable starter or go to option, which is true. NOT that he thinks heā€™s mastered the NBA and doesnā€™t need to prove a thing to anyone or something.

Now if Iā€™m wrong, thatā€™s 100% corny as shit thoughā€¦ (pretty sure Iā€™m not šŸ¤ž)

Thomas is a capable (yet inconsistent thus far) scorer but heading into this season, I figured it would be a long shot if he develops into anything more than just a more consistent scorer. I think having him on the team is fine because, well, the scoring has to come from somewhere and we are not trying to be good.

That being said, I donā€™t think Thomas should or will be in our long term plans for the rebuild. Unless he really turns into something special (which is unlikely imo) but judging by these comments, I donā€™t think he has the right mindset to reach that next level.
