$150 Mitchell & Ness (Fanatics) vs $17 Knock-offs

I received my $18 knockoff PG Sixers jersey today and just wanted to compare a few recent jerseys I've purchased for $15-$18 to my Mitchell & Ness (Fanatics) $150 AI jersey.

Fanatics monopolizing the sports memorabilia industry and churning out cheap trash inspired me to boycott and purchase Knockoff NBA, MLB & NFL jerseys going forward. All ~20 jerseys I've purchased since the boycott have proven to destroy Fanatics in pricing, overall quality, base materials, stitching, sizing, resemblance to game-worn jerseys, and durability after multiple washes.

Hope everyone realizes there's better jersey options and Fanatics has become the EA of sports memorabilia – and it fucking sucks.

I don’t wear jerseys but I basically only buy bootleg/local artists sports merch cause of fanatics

    Any knockoff site you recommend?

Can someone please message which sources I should NOT buy those knock-offs from? It’s quite essential for my livelihood.

Severus Snape big Sixers fan? Who knew?

The stitching on the PG one does look kinda bad but for $20 I would not complain.

The fact that the Iverson jersey is just pasted on stickers is wild to me though

  6. Authentic jerseys have become so expensive over the last 5+ years while the quality has become so iffy that I don’t even understand the point of buying one anymore. It’s not like it’s 2002 and everyone is wearing throwback jerseys out as part of their outfit. They’re essentially beer and wings bibs to wear during games.

Also, probably 90%+ of the stitched jerseys you see people wearing are counterfeit, even if they don’t realize it.

I also have the Spectrum Maxey jersey with the crooked 0 lmao

A few years ago I purchased two custom knock-offs for around the same price because I wanted silly names on them as a joke. They were horrible, way oversized one is like literally a dress.

Earlier this year I rolled the dice again and although it’s okay I can still tell it’s cheap and the logo is a bit off.

Fanatics is horrible price gouging but the knock offs just trigger my OCD.

In all fairness Fanatics is just a $12 South St knockoff with fancy tags.

I’ve got a swing man Maxey jersey from Nike on sale and the quality is pretty good. Mitchell and Ness used to be pretty nice before fanatics bought them.

Knockoffs look good as long as you don’t sit next to anyone wearing a real one 😂. See too many people walking around the city with Lime Green “Kelly Green” Eagles jerseys.

U using jersey reps to get good sellers?

Fandom should not be gatekept by only people who can justify a $150 jersey. But that PG one definitely looks off

I just won an authentic Mitchell & Ness Iverson rookie white jersey (Jordan crossover jersey) for $32 on eBay lol. New with tags- thing was $325 new.

Fanatics owns M&N but M&N still designs and manufactures their brand of jerseys. It’s not the same cheap bullshit as the league jerseys Fanatics makes.

I got a 90 dollar NFL.com kelly green eagles hoodie. It is cheap quality and every time i put it on green pieces of fabric stick to my shirt.
