This Juju worship is out of hand. Can we stop pretending he was better than he was? The same people that wanted him out for 4 years now talk about him like he is Tim Duncan. Then they don’t ever bring up the fact that Juju was in a walk year of his contract so we risked him going somewhere else for nothing like PG. Juju is coming off injury as well. I agree with Sim. I didn't like the trade because we lost depth the whole point of our hopes for this season were because of depth. We have no bench now and before we had Josh Hart and Donte coming off the bench. We should've waited till mid season and traded for a serviceable center. I still know we're good but I feel like Julius was set up to have a great season due to his passing ability. He had 17 assists on the Elfrid Payton squad. what could he have done with this one? It's all good though, just another what if.
This trade in a way reminds me of the Camby trade because Camby was initially looked at as a soft player but his athleticism helped the Knicks go to the Finals. KAT opens up the floor for Brunson with his ability to shoot. Lets hope this trade works like the Camby trade initially worked
