Would have made much more sense to wear these jerseys because these are the jerseys you guys came in with in the 1990s when y'all were first introduced into the NBA but I'm just saying. Even if I am not a Raptors fan, I do come here in peace when I say that you guys would have been better off coming back with these iconic jerseys.

Purple throwbacks = 30th season
White throwbacks = probably 35th season.

Maybe unpopular opinion but these look ugly af. The purples are superior IMO. Just look cleaner.

Why does it matter which one is which? I hope we play in the jerseys that make us win the most, and I’m not going to listen to someone “coming in peace” trying to tell us what to wear.

I like the choice to bring the purple/black Toronto jersey back this season, they haven’t brought it back yet. It’s a nice change, and we’ve done a variation of this dino jersey a few times already (the purple, the white, the black/gold, and the city jersey this year isn’t the same but involves the dino). I just wish the team would wear it more but we know they’ll mostly wear the chevron jerseys
The 2 designs that’ll be used this year and these 2 should’ve been the 4 designs we use this season
Funny how when these were originally released so many people hated them, calling them childish and all that, now everyone loves them
Also they already wore the purple one for their 20th anniversary and then the white for their 25th, it has to be a certain anniversary year for teams to wear retro jerseys (NBA jersey rule)

It’s already been said plenty but the purple ones this season honour the VC era. The city jersey is a homage to past and present with the black zig zag stripe that they’ve repped in recent years and the VC Dino having referenced VC’s iconic dunk contest.
