Hate the narrative that Russ apparently doesn’t make his make his teammates better when KD, PG and Beal had the best season of their career playing alongside Russ and all of them had a career high in scoring as well.
KD won MVP in 2013-14 (albeit, Russ missed half the season with knee injury), PG was an MVP candidate in 2018-19 while also making his only first team All-NBA selection and Beal made his only All-NBA team of his entire career by making the third team. Harden also had his highest TS% in Houston with Russ after he left OKC.
