Randle is a better drive and dish playmaker than KAT imo. Paired with Ant working on his “catch and shoot trey ball” all off season and also him learning from Steph Curry’s off-ball movement, Ant is going to get easier buckets.

I think this season is going to be fun boys

Julius really feels like he has the most to lose/gain in this trade. KAT has to deal with the bigger market but feels like the broader NBA is finally embracing him as a good guy (warms my heart)

Randle is on his 4th team, has had a history of having a bad attitude when things are tough, and hasn’t shown signs of changing. He needs to fit into the system or he’s going to end up banished to a team like the Pistons in two years

LFG! I’m very intrigued about the season

At worst, we’re already used to dealing with an all-NBA player that was often frustrating on-court.

At best, a new environment for Julius with a coach that empowers him could bring out the best in his game and for the Wolves.

I also think we’re underrating the defensive ecosystem the Wolves have created with Rudy and Jaden. All credit to Kat and the work he put in, but he didn’t become a plus defensively until Rudy showed up. I could see Julius having a much bigger impact on that end than people might expect.

I think Finch is a perfect coach for Randle. I’m excited to see what he can do on our team, I definitely was pissed about the trade but it’s also exciting to see what we’ll look like now with Randle and DDV.

From what I have been reminded of watching Knicks highlights is the excellent ball movement that they initiate by running their offense through Brunson. I think it’s on the Twolves players and coaches to try and approach that in order to maximize both guys.

The Randle’s have a nice family and his wife was talking about the want of getting out of the big city because of their young children and how when they were driving around Minnesota, they were seeing tons of beautiful neighborhoods. They are going to love Minnesota and Randle is huge in the community. I’m stoked about the addition. The dude is a straight dawg.

Many players say all the right things at the start of the season, and a lot of them actually believe what they’re saying, but things often seem to change as the season goes on. Prime example, nearly every A1 star will say something like “I don’t care about the awards this year, I’m ready to win and do whatever it takes to win” then fast forward three months and you see the same players boosting stats at the detriment of their team and actively lobbying for accolades. If Randle buys in the way he sounds willing to do, he could make a huge impact. If he continues to be an iso guy who prioritizes getting his 20-10-5 stat line, we’re screwed. Let’s see how it goes.

Knick fan here. Julius is going to have his moments where he has tantrums, but when that man is focused and attacking the hoop nobody is stopping him. Going to miss that bull. He came to the Knicks when our roster was pathetic and gave us 5 great years, plus added to his game every off-season. Take care of big Ju!

Imma still say Fk TC, but I like Randle. He got fked over by this trade too. Imagine sticking around for thr shitty years just to be traded right when your hard work started to pay off.
