It’s weird too how the media seemed to convince everyone he was some big/slow lumbering center that was only good due to his size. They made him sound like Boban or something and he’s not that at all.

He can overpower/outmaneuver almost anyone, except for maybe elite defensive Centers. If he was the #1 option on an NBA team, they’d probably be able to game plan to shut him down much more effectively than his college competition.
But as the #3-4 option on a team with Ja Morant and Desmond Bane as a lethal backcourt, he’ll be able to pick his spots judiciously and quickly take advantage of the mismatches that he’ll get over the course of a game. I don’t know what his averages will end up as but I won’t be surprised to see him put up 20/12/4 at least a few times this season.
