[Highkin] Chauncey Billups said today that Robert Williams III went through all of practice on Tuesday and then sat out yesterday with soreness. They’re being conservative with him during camp but when he’s out there he’s doing everything. TBD if he plays preseason opener next week.

After all the surgeries and physical therapy over the years I just want Rob to get out there and have fun again. Basketball is such a beautiful game and the last thing I want to see is another guy get his career taken from him like Greg Oden did. Rob should have had a ring last year but instead got shipped off to a rebuilding franchise only to get injured once again. No need to push yourself getting back too quick we are capturing the Flagg.

He sat out most of the year. This is his first real physical challenge in awhile. Soreness and slowness is expected to start. We’ll see how he goes during preseason. Gotta get his trade value up.
