[Andrews] NEWS: New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing is returning to the franchise as a basketball ambassador, sources tell ESPN. Ewing will be working directly with both head coach Tom Thibodeau and the front office.

Patrick was my guy when I was a kid. Never resented him for any reason. Dude gave his all to the team, always. I remember when he broke his wrist and he still shot his free throws. It made a huge impression on me at the time.
You never heard about him bitching or any bad attitudes.
Dude could handle the NY press and fans, so we all loved him. Took it all in stride, or at least it felt like it.
Glad to have him home.
