I don’t know if I quite buy that take on last year. I hope he’s developed and is better offensively, but I watched him miss a lot of open 3s, layups and hook shots. He played really well for a rookie though. He does a lot of things right.
He really toes the line between confident and cocky lol. As long as he never takes another hook shoot runner i’ll be a happy fan.
More hookshots innit.
He doesn’t have much burst for the NBA, but he needs to take the 3s/midrange shots given to him.
I really didn’t need to see him shoot more last year, I don’t think that’s what was missing. Less driving into traffic and more take the open shots that were his to take would be better. He doesn’t know that though, and his ego is borderline.
