The Knicks with Randle and Donte already were a threat for Celtics-now probably they will need 1-3 years to understand each other play. And another thing-they didn’t solve a problem with center/PF. It would be better if they have kept Hartenstein and Randle and Donte.

Big KAT is not a winner nor does he fit the defensive minded Knicks style of play. This trade kills the depth & chemistry they had. NYK fans are applauding the Front Office but Rose has really bartered away their future giving up 6 first round picks, Randle & DVC for Miles Bridges & KAT who both haven't won anything in the NBA. OG and Bridges are considered elite defenders but neither are even all stars at any time in their career and probably will not be. NYK is taking a huge gamble giving up almost 100 million per season for injury plagued players. Good chance OG, KAT or Mitch and possibly more than just 1 or even all 3 are out for the playoffs. The bench depth is gone. No one off the bench is a difference maker on a title team. Knicks are a 1st or 2nd round exit. NYK fans still living a pipe dream based on false hope. The house of cards will fall quickly as the expectations will never be reached. No title and the fan base will turn on this FO & Thibs quickly and all their assets will be gone.
KP missing a few months is actually a blessing for the Celtics. If he only has to play 40-50 games this year that is gonna help Boston.

When I was a 14-15yrs old back in 1993 a group of my friends and I went to a Nets vs Suns game n after the game was over we all moved from the nosebleeds seats to the the tunnel where the players walked by to get back to locker room. Barkley signed every kid's jersey, ball, paper. Whatever they had he signed it. 31yrs later and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

It’s like people forget we have Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert the defensive player of the year the Timberwolves are stacked. I’ll always root for Karl-Anthony towns, but we had to get Out Of some of that money and really didn’t have a choice. The trade is about as even as you can get when you look at all the circumstances involved.
