Ik itās pre-season but im sick šššš
If Warriors let Watters go…can we sign him? I was going to ask this before he hit the game-winner LOL
Welcome back, Clippers basketball.
Got fried by lindy water what happend to my beautiful team
Clippers basketball
Interesting question is who is the second unit pg. Bones and Kpj very low iq, but Dunn was getting the ball stolen left and right
Itās like the seasons never actually stopā¦ š
Dunn starting instead of Mann was a curious choice. KPJ and Bones might not be NBA caliber players at this point, but playing them together does them no favors at all. Someone needs to play the point guard and it can’t be either of them. Will be curious to see what combinations Ty will send out there in the next game
brian sieman called that waters 3 lol, need him to call my future
Mavs fan here, Jordan miller looked solid.
Fun game, anyway. Especially that first half.
Rough D on the end there, how could you not prioritize the 3. Nice showing on several starters though
Really got clipped by a lesbian
Way-to-early big takeaways. Harden Zu pnr needs to be the staple of the O. We literally have nobody to run the offense off the bench. KPJ has all the sauce and none of the finish. Bones, sadly cannot see the court. Coffey, Miller and our rookie could help forsure. To what extent is unknown. Kai Jonesā¦solidā¦I guess? Powell looked good. DJJ lookedā¦okay. Please rebound!!!!
Haha what a shot to win it! Thatās a great lesson for our young fellas, if you want to win and be on the court, you gotta know how to rebound missed shots. Something our team has really struggled with in recent years.
A couple things that I noticed. KPJ and Bones both have a lot of potential offensively but are massively limited by their poor IQ. KPJ a bit better though (with a bigger body) so can hopefully pick up a few things from the vets.
Dunn amazing on defence but struggles offensively. Nothing we didnāt know there but still a great addition. Will be nice to have someone we can put on opposing guards, likely coming off the bench.
Kai Jones very athletic but super raw and probs low iq at the moment. A good project if he can pick things up quickly though, looking forward to seeing his progression.
Love that we seem to have a focus on feeding Zu down low. If he can sort out his hands, that could be a great scoring option this season
Edit: miller continues to impress as well. I really think he could take that back up SG position from kpj if he can just get a small opportunity to showcase
If they put Miller on a two way they don’t care about winning games.
I think our bench unit had 4/5 new players in the rotation, it was rough, lots of TO’s, guys not knowing where to be.
Miller stood out the most to me, dare I say he should even challenge for a starting spot. He came in & immediately made things happen, made it look easy, only problem was he didn’t get the ball nearly enough.
1. Harden and Zu looked good for the most part.
2. Wish we got a bit more run of Kai with James to see the PnR in action.
3. Norm was smooth and he should be getting a lot more touches. He works better off the catch tho and we used that a lot today.
4. Dunnās defense is nice but he looked really rough on offense.
5. Jordan Miller needs to get minutes with the second unit in the next few games.
6. KPJ and Bones just out there for comedy.
I hope the lower level 3rd sits from here on out. They’ll have the 30+ minutes a game in the G League. All the extra minutes needs to go to Miller, Christie, Kai, Kobe, and hell even KPJ needs to stay out there and tighten his game up since he’s been out of the league for a year.
DJJ is a little bit disappointing
Idk if kobe is ready
Yall wanted us to be a scrappy team, this is what yall get donāt complain
Yāall canāt be serious trying to actually pull from this game š
Itās pre season.
Christie was super active on defense taking the right lanes and anticipating. Great progress from summer league there. Once he gets a little more meat on them bones it will be interesting to see.
Rebounding was a huge problem for us today.
