Because he’s a spurs draft pick the fanbase’s expectations are sky-high (like become an all-star player from the 29th pick high) but if we got him through free agency we would think about how lucky we are. He’s changed his game and role so many times to fit the team.
Whether with the spurs or somewhere else he’s going to be part of a winner someday (like Derrick white). Hope he stays, he seems like a good leader
