Sabonis needs to shoot 3’s. Some of the best teams have strech bigs. I don’t even care if Sabonis doesn’t make them all. If he can shoot 35 percent from 3 on 4 attempts that will make the kings ungaurdable. Also the better your half court offense is, that only makes your defense better
Been trying to keep my expectations in check for this year, but this got me so hyped. We got a squad and I'm all in. Lets go!! LTB!!
Ive played under both kinds of coaches, the m*f*r kind that Mo loves so much ("my love language") and the kind that manages to teach without diminishing players. (And don't tell me it isn't diminishing to be talked at that way, basketball is no different from any other work environment). My experience has been that the second kind of coach is able to get his points across just as effectively as the first kind, without the verbal abuse. Just as important, the culture stays positive when respect is the real norm, not just the lip-service norm. Brown wants Fox, Sabonis and DeRozan to adopt his m*f*r style of leadership, and I'd be surprised if they took him up on that, because that style is more about personality than best practices leadership.
And this run will be the start of our window to contend and finish games. Buckle up, this is going to be a fun season.
