Star J was rolling if plays like this he’ll be an all star, and then he gets injured sigh 😔 put him in bubble wrap until the regular season
Dick looks way more athletic this year, playing for the MIP
Shead was the rookie that stood out, Ramsey looked good too
Raptors 4th stringers when a roster spot is on the line:
Jokes aside, to my untrained eyes, those last couple of minutes looked very solid for the five that were out there. Chomche needs to work on not fouling, but the other four looked really decent.
honestly the team played pretty good considering how many new guys were playing, how many guys we were missing.
washington might be ass, but raptors didnt fumble
Shead the shed
This game was so much fun, I missed this feeling!!
We are so back levels on a scale of 1-10?
Never thought a wizards game would be fun to watch
i’ve seen enough
I m really optimistic on 905 raptors this year
If RJ can keep that 3 ball consistent AND we hit on a high lotto pick this year we should be ready to compete for a legit play off (non play in) berth next year
Really happy Chris got to show out for his hometown
13 pts (5/9 FGM & 3/5 3PM), 6 rebounds, a block and +19 (second best on the team)

Injuries aside, this was a fairly promising game. I’m not sure our 2nd unit is going to hold up against tougher opponents but Shead, Ramsay, Carton and Carlsen did a good job and if Ja’Kobe can be solid we can at least have a good group of young guys to tank forward with.
Mogbo was very worrying, still just preseason but he seemed scared to shoot, as did Davion. Both of them will probably be fighting for roster spots.
Bruno seems like he could be a good glue guy, did a lot of the little things you like to see. Great rebounder too, especially against bench guys
Shout out RJ for the fantastic start, shame he got his shoulder injured:(
Key takeaways- RJ and Dick played well as starting SG/SF duo. Both sides of the court they played well.
Chris Boucher was actually the 2nd best player on the court today. He looked like he had something to show and he really showed well.
Mogbo is going to be an adventure. He reminds me of Precious in some ways except he can actually dribble without bouncing it off his foot. He can’t finish but I think he can do the rest of it. He will need quality PT in the G-league to get the offensive end of being a pro.
Shead looked like a real backup PG. His ball pressure was fantastic and that floater off the glass that he hit 3 times looks like his answer to being a 6’0” PG.
Mitchell also played within himself but to be fair most of his minutes he was the 2nd ball handler but primary on ball defender. In that role of playing within himself he was a positive player.
Chomche is at least a year away or even 2. There were multiple times where he had no idea who he was guarding. You can see the physical tools but he looks like he hasn’t played a lot of organized basketball.
Always joke about overreacting to preseason – but seriously think Jamal Shead is going to translate well to the NBA. MIG mentality.
Man it feels good to have Raptors basketball back. Was pretty happy with how hard they played and their ball movement. Some great back door passes and extra passes. Unselfishness and intense defense will help this team grow and make them enjoyable to watch.
Happy for Chris that he played well in his hometown.
This is OUR playoffs.
hope Shead gets the chain tonight
