Nick richards would be perfect center for this team. He’s the missing piece
(My overall take) Tyler Kolek & Landry Shamet earned spots on the team.. Kolek is a legitimate court general point guard. Who should be the 2nd backup point guard. Him playing with the main roster guys will be great to see. Sims always plays the same to me. would’ve been nice to see Hukporti get playing time to compare the two. I don’t see Towns being a good center replacement. He plays more like an offensive minded forward. Mitch Robinson’s absence was definitely felt. Knicks need to go for the best big man center available during the next draft. Putting Achuwa as the official backup center 5 might be the best option. McBride is official.. keep him at all cost. TJ Warren wasn’t in this game but I’m hoping to see him impress soon.
The 2 man game between Deuce and Cam was brilliant.l

I don’t want to speak too soon but there’s definitely some improvement in Miles McBride… Hopefully he can emerge as a sixth man of the year type of player for us since Divo is gone and he will assume more scoring responsibility.
Also, KAT’s presence on the court was notable. The entire dynamic of the offense is different with him on the court and that’s a good thing; not to mention Bridges and OG are still around.
I would like to hear your thoughts on a potential Trey Murphy III trade. Me personally, I think he would be PERFECT to solidify the bench with solid shooting and to add more wing depth in case of injuries. At this point if we trade Robinson I’m thinking we should just sign a generic 7ft big man that has defensive potential… I’m sure Thibs would bring the best out of them if they were young and given an opportunity on a winning team.

Early but looks good. Sims needs a little more playing time. He has the hops, and works hard. If Sims can get a jump hook or a short jumper. It will help Katt.
Im pretty confident shamet will make the team and share min with Mcbride, but knicks needs to drop Payne in order to happen. Love payne enthusiasm and bench energy, but he can't shoot like shamet and make plays like him too.

Yes they looked better than the starters. I would like to see much better defense and rebounding they could have lost that game yesterday.
Tom thibodeau is going to have to figure out how to share that ball because many of these guys were the best players on their team.
