[Mike O’Connor] Think the release on his off the dribble 3s looks noticeably quicker/cleaner than years past. The first and last clips especially are Lillard-esque.
My main takeaway from last night was honestly this. Maxey looks to be ascending into a Lillard/Curry level threat off the dribble. It's gunna be a very fun season. Probably 28ppg and All-NBA for the young man!
Maxey had also mentioned post-game that he has been practicing at game speed since he signed his new contract

He honestly looked incredible. Just at a different level than everyone else on the court. Dropped 15 in that quarter while barely breaking a sweat. Those 3s looked effortless. I absolutely think he plays at Dame level this year.
