guys derrick lively didn't start for the mavs whenever gafford was available. It's really simple rookies just don't get that starting role unless they are on a young team. Lively was still essential for the Mavs he was just coming off the bench. Tyler herro had his best season for the heat as a sixth man. Coming of the bench is normal for young guys even if they have a lot of talent
Bam can take 2 3pt shots a game unless he on fire,if not take it to the basket…if bam start making shots with jovic/love it will open so much for our guards…
I was at the Red White and Pink game, for me Pelle, Keshad, and Nassir stood out. Jovic was also solid. Kal’el was a defensive presence but he got pushed around easily on offense, I hope he becomes more aggressive as the season goes on.
This is what I'm going to say. With you guys is logic nobody in that drive should be playing in the NBA this season. Our first round draft pick could be the best player coming out of that draft. So none of those players should be playing in the NBA this season
If we want a point guard that creates a bunch of assists and doesn’t score we should have just kept Lowry & our first round pick. Don’t know how you could say Rozier looked “fantastic” 😂
Or play the cheapest guy possible in Smith. He can have a bunch of assists too; not score, and play better defense

Kel'el ain't ready to anchor the defense rn. Needs to gain some pounds, needs polish but the potential is there. No way he starts this year with all being fine health wise.
Pelle as an elite role player? Sure, that’s a compliment, but why not a star? I could see him being a star if he’s this good off the jump as a 2nd round pick…crazy that Spo undervalues him like that
