  1. One of the best interviews by a Warriors media member I’ve heard in years. I LOVE Roye’s questioning in this interview, he does such a good job of peeling back Moody’s thought process behind his game and his approach to the why’s and what’s behind his improvement. And then later in the interview the way he gets Moses to really open up about the why’s of what he likes to do off the court was such a great peak further into Moses that I just loved. Special, special kid. Cannot say enough about Roye as an interviewer.

Transcript of the Q&A is below. It was too long to fit into one comment so it’s broken down into a few.

    > **Roye:** I’m Tim Roye, joined by Warriors swingman Moses Moody. I use swingman because you can go guard, you can go forward, but let’s first of all get your definition. How do you define yourself as a basketball player?
    >
    > **Moody:** Yeah, mostly purpose, whatever the situation calls for.
    >
    > **Roye:** **Tell me a little bit about this situation now. You’ve had kind of a tough spot because you’ve been in a crowded position for the Warriors. What things have you worked on to try to ease that up and try to get yourself full time into the rotation?**
    >
    > **Moody:** **A lot of different stuff. Changing up the cadence of my shot, being able to get into it quicker, coming off screens, being able to find my feet, as well as ball handling movement cadence I’ve been working on a lot.**
    >
    > **Roye:** **Tell me what you mean by changing up the cadence of your shot?**
    >
    > **Moody:** **It’s a rhythm thing, so you want to get to the spot and make your shot feel good. So if you have to stop and set your feet to do that, then that’s what you need to do, but that’s a slower shot. But if you can step into it and find that same cadence off the move, then that’s a faster shot.**
    >
    > **Roye:** **How important is it for you when you’re doing that and stepping into that shot? And especially if you’re off ball, how important is your hand position?**
    >
    > **Moody:** **Hand position, I don’t necessarily think about that as much as footwork, just because that’s where you find the feel from. If you got slower footwork and you’re trying to get your shot off faster, that’s when the shot’s rushed, but if you’re already there and on balance, then a slower shot looks faster.**

I appreciate all this content taygads

    I have said it before.

    I will say it again.

We don’t deserve Moses but I’m so glad we have him.

I hope Steve finally figures out he needs to just play him. 2 or 3 of Melton, JK, MM and Wiggins need to be on the floor at all times.

Free Moody man we are stealing his future bag by not playing him consistently.
