Has Brunson hit his ceiling yet? Do you think his Ast and Pts will be similar in 2024-25, or could they grow even higher? So far, he has only grown every season!

I think statistic wise his ceiling is likely hit. Maybe he’ll get more assists this year tbh but if he does I’d imagine it comes w a decrease in points.

That being said Idt his stats not getting better means he won’t be making a bigger impact on the game this year

  2. Type-Alpha

With the players on the roster now, i’d inagine that his pts will decrease but thats not a bad thing. We got a fire ass starting 5 now

  3. Tommy-Love

He’ll be more efficient. He put those numbers up with way worse spacing. Counting stats might stay the same/ go down but only cause everybody on the team ballin…he not gonna need to carry like that. I’m thinking assists will go up too.

he’s here. It’s why they went full all out win now. It’s Brunson’s window. He’s the star closer you build around. He’s also a great leader and floor general and tireless worker who sacrifices so easy to see the Capt tag.

It’s all about winning. I expect good EF% and few shot attempts as he’s got much better offensive options around him. Not a ton more assists as he’s often not the one making the last past.

It’s all about winning and competing for a chip

  5. GyantSpyder

Ideally Brunson’s counting stats don’t keep going up because ideally we have other players who can pass and score who aren’t injured.

I’m anticipating him to level off statistically, but that will be due to having more talent around around him. This is a good thing. As much as I love the dude, we should want to have a couple of guys that can take over a playoff game, similar to the Celtics. If JB is off in a particular game, we’d still have the horses to win.

  7. heliumointment

ceiling isn’t only determined by stats, so no, he hasn’t hit his ceiling

his ceiling is a finals mvp

  8. troveezus

I think his point totals will go down but that’s a product of having a better team around him. Assists might go up tho

  9. AutisticFingerBang

I don’t think he’ll have a higher ppg since we added so many pieces. That being said he’s taken a step further every season, and every season people say it’s his ceiling. So, it’s possible he has another level.

  10. datatadata

He probably did hit his ceiling last year (I hope I’m wrong). With the new players we added, I just don’t see him get more points per game. Maybe his assists numbers will compensate

  11. DanUnbreakable

His ast should go up and points down if bridges, KAT and OG step up. It all depends on if injures happen which they probably will so he will be avg 35 a game

  12. Pablo_Undercover

Points definitely go down, he’s not going to need to play as much minutes, he’s not gonna have to be closing out random games against Charlotte or wizards or whatever and he has much more offensive talent around him, so better spacing and more players to dish it out to.
Depending on how quickly him and KAT get comfortable with each others playstyles I think his assists could definitely go up, good chance his efficiency goes up too.

I think if he wanted to play selfishly he could get 30 and 10 on the season but he’s too smart for that, I’d expect something like 27 and 7 on close to 50/40/90

  13. ElTuco84

Likely around the same or a bit less but more efficient since he has more firepower around him and won’t need to carry the team on his shoulders alone.

  14. Av-fishermen

If this team is going to truly compete for a championship. They need Bronson to be a complete player. He’s good even great. He needs to be better. Make everybody around him better I think he can do it.

  15. MelKijani

i think 24 and 8 seems about right but then again the points might be a bit high .

the reason his scoring and usage skyrocketed last season was he was the only real scorer in the line up

Donte stepped up , IHart stepped up but neither of them were true scorers , Hart routinely had more assists than fg’s

at Brunson’s core he is a scoring game manager , his goal is never to put up big numbers , it’s only to win and if someone else is better served taking the shots Brunson will happily give up his.

  16. TheHomieKhan

He might average 30. With the players we brought in and our starting 5, they actually don’t take many shots. Ik Randle was out 2nd half of last season but Brunson still got his 20 fga the first half. That being said Randle was taking 18 fga while KAT been taking 15 fga last two seasons. Basically im tryna say is even with a better team Brunson still gonna be putting up 21 shots. Now with so many perimeter threats, last mins close outs on Brunson in the paint are gonna lead to more fts. Along with a faster paced offense.
I think it’ll look something like this

    Fg/Fga: 10.6/21.6(49%) 3fg/3fga: 3/7.5(40%) Ft/Fta: 6.7/8(84%)
    Ppg= 30.9 on 49/40/84

This team not so secretly was built perfectly for Brunson to eat. Josh, Mikal, OG, Kat are players that in the past are known to sacrifice and will be looking for ways to get Brunson the best shot because in most scenarios thats the best shot for us to score.

  17. jbrunsonfan

I would be so fucking happy if he put up that exact same stat line. Even if he loses 1 or 2% on his makes, he is exactly what we need.

Pray to the gods of good health. This (like the rest of the top teams in the east) will be the biggest factor in whether we win a championship or not.

  18. justsomedude4202

Yeah he’s hit his ceiling. How much higher could he possibly go. Hes already first tier superstar.

  19. Fungmar

probably, first team all nba player is realistically as good as he can get unless his passing takes a significant jump. its hard to be the best player in the world as an undersized guard

  20. solo118

Like Hahn said he just needs to do around what he did last year. Doesn’t need to be leaps and bounds better because hopefully there will be less for him to do. Last season with Randle out he did so much of the heavy lifting

One preseason game with a few minutes you could see he already had things a bit easier

  21. WinnieThePootietang

i don’t see him getting better than he is now. which is fine because he’s one of the best players in the league

  22. Grand-Philosophy-343

If he takes smarter shots it will work out even better

  23. Friendly-Profit-8590

I think he could produce more stats-wise but I’d also like to think that he won’t need to with the players around him. Playoff Brunson was awesome but if we’re relying on him to score 40 a night we’re in trouble.
