How does anyone know if the Hawks arent particulary good? This a new season and Tre Young isnt hurt.
Hawks beat Boston twice in a row last year toward the end of the season and Boston was playing all its atarters and Hawks were without Tre Young.
Just because A team had a losing record the year prior doesnt mean they wont be good the next season.
Ask the Indiana Pacers. Made the conference finals after not even making the play in season prior.
EVERY NBA team at home has a chance of winning regardless of win/loss record. The media and NBA fan base creates this narrative that if the NBA team has a losing record they are terrible and scrubs.
Coaches jobs are on the line. Players are playing for contracts. Im not trying to bust your chops or be critical but these are NBA players. These narratives that somehow players on an NBA team are scrubs drives me crazy.
Any NBA team can beat any team on any given night
TJ played 12 minutes and they played Jackson and Mathurin as ballhandler a lot.
I get so sick of hearing the preseason doesn't matter, that's such an Indiana take. Every minute these guys are on the floor matters because if someone gets injured it still impacts the season.
Mathurin looked in better shape and he wasn’t getting lost on defense
with the centers out, Walker was at 4 as Toppin had to move to 5. we still need to see his defense as a 3.
