i mean they have Klay, Grimes, and Dinwiddie for the backcourt I think they’ll be okay on that front

If a wing goes down though they are in trouble

Shams first report as a member of ESPN is pretty weird to see.

Dallas Mavericks moment. This is starting to get comical, I laugh so I don’t cry. Sorry Mavs fans

He’s 29 already?! Was hoping this would be a comeback season for him, the dude can’t catch a break

That’s nearly half the season. Too bad for Dante but at least it’s not a season ender. It’s another setback for a guy who doesn’t deserve any more with what he’s had to deal with, but it also will allow him to continue to train since it’s a wrist. He can still run, he can remain in shape, and hopefully rearing to go when he’s activated.

Grimes’ fantasy value and role just shot up. Mavs bench now looks like something like Dinwiddie/Grimes/Marshall/Kleber/Gafford or so. That’s still a great bench, but Exum brought a level of ballhandling that Grimes does not, so now that adds more responsibility on Dinwiddie. I think he’ll be OK but it’s something to watch.

So it begins, earlier than expected even. I’ll make a bold prediction of a 4th or 5th seed finish, plagued by injuries (which will once again be ignored by the media), with Luka finishing 2nd in MVP voting after averaging 35/9/9.

Sucks but I’m still impressed he managed to get back into the NBA and on an elite team. Heal away precious prince

Mavs will be okay. They will still dominate. They have Klay also now.

  9. last season was like the first time legit i saw him healthy, i was surprised to see him in the nba

I’m excited for the upcoming season, but man, this is disheartening. So many injures this preseason. I hope everyone else stays healthy.

On the bright side, he will be on track and motivated to return in time to face his former nemesis, Guerschon Yabusele, on Feb 4.

One of favorite players to watch last season. Bummer.

Well they should be fine with the guards they have but that still sucks
