  1. OK, see you’re gonna be very good but they’re basically never gonna have the top player as long as Luka joker and wemby are around

  2. The cba isnt meant for super deep teams. Minnesota just salary dunped KAT, denver dropped kcp so they can extend gordon.. OKC will have to drop J Dub and cason wallace in 2 years

  3. Everyone are overrating OKC, They got more assets to make moves but the window is narrower to strike. You can't keep drafting the picks. there will be lot of cap issues, roster constraints, if you consistently recycle players there won't be any continuity. There is lot more to winning than having lot of draft picks

  4. I like OKC a lot but not sure they are having a dynasty-type run. It’s always hard to predict a young team’s trajectory until they finally win, and most never do. So, let’s hold off for now.

  5. They should have traded for Draymond at the deadline. And I know that sounds like I'm smoking crack, but he was the perfect player/perfect situation to maximize this team. They needed rebounding, playmaking, playoff experience, a vocal leader in the locker room, and the "tough guy" on the court to back them all up. And importantly, he'd never need to take a shot for the team to get better.

If the playoff 8-man rotation were Shai-Dort-Jalen-Draymond-Chet with Caruso-Wiggins-Hartenstein off the bench they'd be golden for years.

  6. The curse of Seattle. This team is cursed they might as well of built the stadium on an Indian burial ground. They may win the west but Seattle will win an NBA championship before OKC does.

  7. This is just not being realistic about it the the cap works. They won’t be able to bundle picks to pickup a top tier player because they’ll be capped out. And they won’t be able to draft multiple draft picks because they’ll be roster limited. We’ve seen this before, and you just can’t have five all stars each making 25% of the cap. CBA doesn’t allow it.

  8. As an okc fan, they’re setup pretty nice right but could turn into the nuggets situation where they have 3 huge contracts on the books. So thats where the picks are valuable. Imo they still don’t have second guy next to Shai that can generate offense consistently. JDub really failed to do that in the playoffs so hopefully he can do that this year. And they’re missing a 3/D wing. But, I don’t really see a team better positioned than them in the west.

  9. Imagine it’s June 2012, and somebody told you that OKC will eventually become a championship dynasty, but not until after Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden are gone 😳

With that said, I’m not as bullish on OKC as Bill and this guy are. I think Shai is absolute great franchise player, but all things considered, do I think he’s on Jokic or Luka’s level? Not quite. Do I think he’ll be above Wemby in 3-5 years? No I don’t. I think they have 2 maybe 3 years to get a title before Wemby (if he stays healthy) takes over the league and RC Buford is able to put the right pieces around him.

  10. Remember when you guys anointed Denver as the next dynasty after winning a single title and then they won nothing before losing a bunch of good pieces?

Maybe you should let folks play a game first.

  11. Not sure why Boston gets so much credit. It took them 11 years into a rebuild to win a title even with their “war chest” and their supposed brilliant management. Other teams just built and won in the same timeframe. Boston has a lot to prove going forward. If they keep winning, then it’s all worth it. If not, they are going to fall into mediocrity and people will continue to dog them for only winning 2 titles since the 19 freaking 80s

  12. Please don’t. Please just leave Durant in the past. They’ve been just fine without him and much more successful.
