Locke's arms out of focus when he does his "ba da bom bom bom bom pow!!!" Perfect show of his excitement for every episode. I love it.
Cody Williams = Bust He is like a frail Dante Exum 2.0. I have been following the Jazz since they were in New Orleans with the Pistol.
I really believe if they would put more focus on Collin Sexton, they would see they already have a second star on the team.
something that I have cogitated on for a few weeks (so this is NOT any critique of Locke) is that on litterally all of the talking heads that I have listened to none of them have given any discussion about what the coach is asking them to do. e.g. Locke talked about anxiously awaiting the time when Cody gets off 8-9 shots in a game. Could it be possible that the coaches are telling him/them (whichever rook we are talking about) to not worry about shooting the ball but to concentrate on defense (or rebounding or shot blocking or whatever the case may be). Which means to me that quite possibly we/they are getting concerned about shooting (or offense or passing or whatever) when the coach is telling them not to concentrate on that aspect
Cody Williams was drafted for potential. He will struggle quite a bit. He will struggle this year with a few flashes just like Hendricks. Fans will start writing him off and through next year and the year after he will take a leap.
Not everyone is Donovan Mitchell. Especially dudes that aren’t 6’1 and have to grow into their body.
Flip will be nice. If he can be at least average on defense his shot and playmaking will force him into the rotation.
Collier is sturdy. Would be cool if he developed defensively and was able to body up two’s.
