G league squad lost it for us… but our actual team looked great, sucks about Friday tho just hope people are safe
One the rare games where our bench was worse than our starters
Everyone in Florida stay safe, let’s try our best and not overreact to these preseason games, everyone’s breaking off the rust and these games don’t count anyway.
Before we get into it, let’s acknowledge that 1) it’s preseason, obviously. 2) The spurs are not going to be good this year. And 3) Both teams were resting rotation players, so you can’t get a full gauge. With that said.. I was really impressed with AB and Jett. THAT is what offseason work looks like. Idk how Mose will be able to justify not giving Jett minutes. I’m a WCJ defender, but absolutely Goga could be the starter for this team, just makes winning plays. Cole is gonna have his moments where he shines this year, but his days in Orlando might be numbered. The players behind him in the rotation should be getting his minutes. They’re all bigger, better defenders, and better spot up shooters. I could see us eventually moving on simply to get more minutes for AB, Jett, and TDS (who already looks like a stud). The big 3 were sturdy too, I’m never gonna panic about Franz’s shot, he does everything else so well. Give Mac a spot, it’ll be fun.
I see Franz bricked both 3’s. We’re back to Olympics again lol lol
Unleash the Jett, he is Ready
