  1. Resets the perspective on his play and effort last year. I think anyone going through what he did would have that moment of what matters.

  2. The Heat announced he was away for a personal reason due to a death in the family right around AS break and he still played almost 60 games, right!?

  3. I find it hard to believe you guys didn't know Jimmy's father died last season. Myself and some other fans came across this info on Heat related posts on social media and it's not even our jobs to search/know about this stuff.

Jimmy's agent is going to do what's in his client's best interest and asking for a max extension as soon as Jimmy's eligible for one is exactly what's best for him.

NOBODY would have a problem with their agent asking for a $113 million dollar contract extension, even without your permission. Jimmy has made it clear he wants to remain in Miami with or without an extension

What's lost in Jimmy's agent request for an extension, is that Jimmy already got an max-extension that starts this season.

Pat Riley gave him one, despite knowing Jimmy's history of missing a lot of games before and with Miami, that Jimmy's getting older and could start to decline and the salary cap ramifications.

Pat Riley needs to hold himself more accountable for making that decision if he was unhappy with Jimmy's availability and play last season, which could've been his last season with the Heat.

I expect Jimmy to opt-in to his player option after this season and how he plays this year, along with what type of season the team has and/or who's available in FA or a trade will determine if the Heat trade Jimmy or not.

I could also see Jimmy opt-out and sign for with the Heat for less money IF the Heat have a plan to bring in a star player and need some cap flexibility

  4. It was a lot of ppl all off-season talking about trading Jimmy in these comments, and that won't go unnoticed. A bunch of ppl dont know what it feels like to lose a parent. Let alone like myself, who lost both before high school. That grief hits so differently because ppl can't relate or can say anything that can help. Basically, to all those People that was in these comments talking to trade Jimmy, just know it's F******!!! For coming at this guy with all he was dealing with. One thing I'll tell you about death. You learn to deal with it, but you never forget!!! #foodforthought REMEMBER WHAT BOSTON DID TO ISAIAH

  5. the heat is ran by a old grumpy man that thinks players should shut up and dribble lol crazy

  6. Wes sounds so arrogant and obnoxious. David is definitely more empathetic. Wes once said JJ Redick acts like a "know it all" huh i guess he has never looked into a mirror.
