With Murray, Joker and Russ able to be playmaker, Gordon is going to feasting on cuts while MPJ gets off from 3. I can see Denver coming out of the west this year if they can get past OKC.
To say Westbrook doesn’t offer much is kinda where I disagreed w/ you.
Here’s why:
Russ brings that intensity off the bench with Jeff green and brown took with them. The effort and hustle is in one player and Westbrook can get you 16/20 pts if you need him too.
This also allows jokic to take his foot off the gas for a bit during the long stretches in the playoffs while also allowing Murray to be who he really is (which is a great shooter/ scorer) instead of trying to get others open when jokic is sitting out.
The only real cons to this addition is Russ isn’t a consistent shooter, but even then with Denver’s shooting I don’t see this posing as a huge problem. Along with his sometimey defense 🤷🏽♂️

Insane? You're talking about a pre-season game. To all you Russ fans, you keep ignoring he's poison wherever he has been. He's had issues EVERYWHERE, and the minute things go poorly, that silly smile turns into a frown. He turns into a child. It's a good pick up for Denver because he's cheap now and easy to get rid of in case he doesn't work out. He has a lot of funs, so the ticket and merchandise sales go up…purchased by fools.
Nowadays I find myself rooting for russ and i dont really like it lol. Ive always admired his game but as a lifelong jazz fan it was hard to handle his giant and oftentimes cringe ego. But now, after so many people were calling him washed or his game was based only on his excellent athleticism and now hes old, which i dont agree with, now that he is somewhat of an underdog im hoping he will prove hes still the same ol westbrook. With the lakers he was just a terrible fit, plus all the pressure playing with bron and from fans and media i think he got in his head, basketball is 90 percent mental, isnt that what they say. Hes going to thrive in denver
I was excited for the Nuggets season to start as soon as they signed him. I haven’t been a huge Russ fan for his entire career, but something just seems right about pairing him with the Nuggets.
