[Shams] After 15 NBA seasons, Danny Green says he is retiring. Green, who’s announcing the retirement on his podcast Thursday, is one of four players in NBA history to win championships with three different teams (2014 with Spurs, 2019 with Raptors, 2020 with Lakers).

If Embiid didn’t get injured last season, I fully expected him to be back after the trade deadline (he kind of confirmed that on his podcast).

I think he was well liked by players and very familiar with Nurse’s system. Perhaps they should consider offering him an assistant coach role?

Just looked through his stats for his career and was surprised to see he played in 2 games for us at the beginning of last season. I don’t know why I have no recollection of that.

Almost a finals mvp for the spurs, wish he coulda won one with the sixers. One of the GOAT role players. Rest easy icy-hot!

  4. Sixers thought they could meme their way to a title with Danny Green winning in 2019 with Toronto and 2020 with the Lakers.

I mean they were the East 1 seed in 2021, so it looked like Danny was on the right track.

Role player legend. After the pain of the 2019 3 center 2 forward sixers it was such a relief to see him and Seth be able to shoot it.

What could’ve been if he wasn’t injured for that hawks series 😔

    Horry, Rockets Lakers Spurs

    John Salley!, Pistons Bulls Lakers
