I’m gonna miss him the same way he missed this game winning shot ❤️

  2. Felt like such a tease since I was confident this finals and it was like bruh we need to play an extra game. Went on to wipe the floor in game 6 though lol

  3. There was enough time that he could have pump faked and re set. He could have made the pass to the corner.

Still salty lol. But at least we got the championship that next game.

Bro came to the Lakers and forgot how to shoot. Congrats on a great career tho, Champ

LBJ is the best floor general that has walked this planet.
This was a dime from Bron!

If only we would have won in those jerseys instead

Lol this is pic you show of him for appreciation? Him blowing game 5 of the NBA finals 🤣

This is some shitty Fandom tbh. Gonna define his Laker tenure by one shot or even one series. Lakers won the title and he helped get there, he wasn’t a bad teammate or shitty person.

No reason to be a dick about it as he’s retiring.

Danny green was integral to that championship run. Pinning his legacy to this shot infuriates me. He got literal death threats to him and his kids from this. Trashy af

I commented about this shot bout a hr ago 😂

  11. I’ve seen a lot of meltdowns but this sub on that night was something to see.

Hate this post, dude may not have shot insanely well like he did on the Raptors, but his transition defense and IQ paired with KCP made us so lethal. Letting Green Ranger go still bugs me, but “fans” like this prove it was the right thing for him to do.

  13. Still annoyed about this one. Ruined the Lakers in 5 meme and didn’t get to celebrate in the mamba jerseys

his weak side defense unlocked AD that year and it was sorely missed when he left, that’s a huge contributor to AD not being the same since then and people don’t realize it. Green was the best non superstar wing defender in the league that year but fans are more interested in whether he shot 3s well even though we won that year on defense.

Class Act and Leader. He may not gotten all the recognition and fame for his Spurs/Raptors/Lakers championship runs but he was pivotal. He did all the dirty work and was our 3 and D guy. Kept the locker room harmoniously together.
