Feels kinda odd even now. Need one last run for Curry. In a perfect dream, Mavs vs Warriors final will hit like crack

I think it all hinges on 2 players — Wiggins and Kuminga.
Kuminga to take a leap, Wiggins to get back to how he played 2-3 years ago.
Neither are out of the question, but I think both have to happen for the Warriors to get to the playoffs and make some noise.
To contend…well, beyond their talent, I think, but if we’re wishing, then Podz, TJD and Moody making small leaps would be necessary.
Oh…and this assumes Steph and Draymond don’t fall off lol

I love the line about how its about establishing their identity on both sides of the floor. I think this is super important. Seems like every year Kerr trys to squeeze the team into the old system designed for our ’14-’16 teams and it never goes smoothly. On top of that, we’ve been signing/drafting these young guys thinking they will develop and fill up our team, but they also don’t get a truly fair shot, you can’t just develop from a raw player to a championship caliber role player in a few months. I think its clear that Kerr does not do a good job of managing young players. His comparison to himself is terrible, because its not like he developed into some star player. I think we have to completely forget about previous teams, look at the skillset and talent we have now, and establish a new identity on both sides. What worked in ’14-’15 does not work now. I hate hearing “they don’t fit the system” or “they don’t play well in the system”. Fucking make a new system that fits everyone then, its not rocket science. Instead we’ve been just throwing up our hands like, welp, better luck next year hopefully we find guys that fit our system, and wasting away steph’s prime.
