I firmly believe that Danny Green was already preparing for retirement by the time he was traded to the Raptors as evidenced by his podcast — I think he wants a future in media. Him winning a chip with us extended his playing career by several years, I think.

“Green tore his ACL and LCL when teammate Joel Embiid fell on him during Philadelphia’s season-ending playoff loss to Miami in May 2022, and he appeared in only 17 more games (four in the playoffs) in the next two seasons.”
This is why he couldn’t play as best as he could. Flopper ended his career.
