It’s pretty maddening that we’ve had a center problem since Zions first year and it took Griffin 5 years to draft a center with a first round pick. I hope it works out but we’ve been bad when we play small ball the past few years, especially last year.

Theis would be fine as the starting center, he plays defense and can knock down mid range shots. The real problem is our 3 point shooting with Murray – BI – Herb – Z – Theis would be maybe last in the league. I assume that’s why they are desperate to keep CJ or Trey in the lineup, and playing without a center is one way to do it.
