Kessler was the main story tonight, he looked better than at almost any point last season. Hopefully this is the version of him we’re getting going forward.

Keyonte was cooking until his injury, thank goodness it is only be a mild sprain. He’s definitely done with preseason, but hopefully we see him again early on in the regular season.

Collier’s vision is very impressive, if he can figure out his scoring enough to make the defense respect his shot, he could be an absolute steal.

Lauri is a beast but we all knew that.

Hendricks and Williams are still very passive but have fun flashes, and they’re probably getting lots of minutes this season to figure things out.

Although not flawless games, the 2023, and 2024 draft classes seem to have unlimited potential. Glad Keyonte didn’t get a worse injury

The Jazz apparently were required to rest Juzang just to make it a fair game (since the Mavs were resting Luka).

Glad Keyonte’s injury isn’t serious. That would’ve weighed over the entire night. He is really a great shotmaker. His defense was better tonight. More physical and more engaged defensively tonight. He needs to keep that up. The decision making/shot selection/etc. still comes and goes but he’s playing more decisively and with more maturity and the shot looks cleaner. He has taken a leap.

Collier is smooth, excellent vision, instincts. More decisive tonight. Still some questions surrounding his ability to score enough to really allow the passing to shine and decision making. Still think he can be a little more decisive, can still overdribble a bit, but he’s improving game to game.

Hendricks hasn’t been bad. His defense has been fine. Just kinda not standing out on that end or in general. I honestly feel Cody has outplayed him defensively. I do like the responsibilities that Hardy is placing upon Taylor, he’s getting the best matchups every game….crucial reps for his development. Would like to see him be a little more active off ball…gotta make a little more impact on the game offensively.

Walker had the kind of night we’ve been waiting for and if we get more of that from him that takes this team to another level. He has to play with that level of engagement every night.

Lauri is a beast, feel like Sexton isn’t really showing his cards fully yet. JC and Collins have been positive presences overall, they’ve bought in. Everyone is contributing.
