  1. Mailbag question: what are your thoughts from okc’s double big lineup and okc’s new pieces and overall team improvements so far?

  2. Keegan is just showing a glimpse of what he’ll be maybe even this year all nba defender guy. He’s a good shooter and his second year got better shooting midrange off the DHO what he’ll even get better at is posting up smaller guys. At Iowa he was a PF playing the post and he got bigger this off-season

  3. Hey Jason.. Greetings from Brazil! Love the show! Mailbag: I’m a Dallas fan and I’m really worried about our defense with that starting lineup. For me the best look would be starting Marshall over Klay.. and have Klay in when Kyrie seats in the middle of the first quarter. This way you’d have Marshall who is a great perimeter defender on the other team’s best perimeter player and PJ on the best forward. Of course Dallas has so many players now that we’ll be able to adjust to the other team’s strengths. But I really don’t think that we’ll be able to keep that projected starting line up for too long on the floor specially against good teams. Having Naji start we would always have at least 2 scores and ball handlers and 2 great defenders on the floor.. do you think Klay would buy in to a bench role for the good of the team? Marshall is a better player than DJJ and having Klay replace THJ as a shooters/scorer from the bench would be an immense improvement over last year’s team. Keep up the good work!

  4. Been wanting the warriors to trade for buddy even when they had klay . No injuries and less ego .

  5. Respectfully Jason….are u watching the game. Podz was not good in the first half. Missed his 3s and couldn't stop guards defensively. Looney could not stop Sabonis at all. TRAYCE had to come in and settle things down. TjD was a +22 for the game. For u to say Looney and Podz looked good is wrong…especially in first half. Podz was better in 2nd half after he settled in. He does not need to start AT ALL

  6. Don't forget Buddy Hield has been shooting the lights out, and he even showed some dribble penetration stuff that's quite impressive.

  7. Had the same smitten reaction to Trey Mann… totally a poor man's Iverson impression, super fun to watch!

  8. Hey Jason, most people don't see podz as a high ceiling player. What do you think his ceiling can be? How far can high IQ get you with limited physical abilities?

  9. Can you talk about the Hornets? They have been looking good in preseason and look like a play in team this year

  10. No offense to Podz I think he’s good but he get ALOT of hype I haven’t seen him even close to live up to. Everyone else was better then him if anything he’s taking bench role if not odd man out the rotation if we’re going off preseason.

  11. “Fox is really damn good at basketball. Superstar effect that’s why I ranked him 24 out of 25 best players in the league” 😂. 27 ppg and led the league in steals last year. Arguably best 2 way PG in the game but 23 players are still better than him.

  12. MAILBAG QUESTION: I am curious why you think Sochan was the main problem with their offense and spacing. I know he is not a great shooter but he can hit some corner 3s, he looks amazing athletically and dominant under the basket. Can't he be the Aaron Gordon of this team? Insane defense and punishing players with his physicality?

NOTE: Also Devin Vassel was out and that will improve spacing tremendously

  13. Mailbag question: As we know now Nuggets will be in your top 3 in power ranking, but I really worry about this team because I think their lack of 3pts shooting could really kill them. Last year they are already a low-volume 3pts shooting team, without KCP this year, looks like it will only get worse. As the great Zach Lowe(F*** ESPN) mentioned, there is a 3pt volume threshold you have to reach to make your offense work, right now I worry their shooting may get so bad that no matter how great Jokic is, their offence just can't work.
