I’m very excited to see this team (especially DG) to play with some pace. We all were tired of slogging the ball up the floor, not running any plays, and putting up dumb/contested shots.
There’s so much that can be unlocked with this talent. Don and Allen are established and “are what they are.” When it comes down to it, our success lies with how much Evan and DG evolve this season (obviously need our role players to be solid as well).Which comes back around to Kenny — I think he was the right man for the job.
Damm, I’m so excited for the season. The Cavs are my #1 with the Bengals and then Reds. Most of you guys (Browns fans) understand this. At least you guys have the Guardians, will be rooting for you guys tm.

I’m additionally excited by the ability to gear shift. While it shouldn’t be 90% of the offense, the high sloggy pick and roll with DG is a bucket getter because he’s an amazing facilitator. I’d like to see more pace but we don’t have to be seven seconds or less for 48 minutes. We have other combinations that work.
Goal of the offense should be fewer hard shots for DM and DG until games tighten up in the fourth. Pace will do some of that, lineups will do some of that, good defense and rebounding and transition will do some of it.
