Bam has been given the green light, but also understands that Bam makes the choice of how many of those he takes along with what the defense gives him.
I think we might see Bam attempting 4-6 per game to start the year while teams entirely disrespect the spacing. Then it will shift down to 2-3 per game once defenses play it more closely.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he gest 6-8 wide open looks at the top when the opposing centers sag off a good 10 feet on him off the high screen and roll. he’ll have to hit those first to get defenses to adjust and open up the spacing, then the sky is the limit to our offense.
A minimum of 2 a game? Nice
Good now start Ware at the C and throw Bam at the PF dudes 6ft 9 on a good day!
More about the mentality than the number of shots. Make them pay for not closing out. If he can start hitting those corner 3s regularly than it would open up so much for Jimmy to attack the paint easier.
This is yearly now. This is like Simmons balling out in the off season making shots all over the place and in season it never happens.
Let Bam shoot already.
